What is the Website’s URL?
We take payment through PayPal and we are requesting that all families who have internet access to please use the online system. The website will also be sending you confirmation emails, forms and scheduling information as needed. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folders and add firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com to your safe lists.
- Convenience- You will be able to register and pay remotely at any time of the day, from work or home. The website will also let you know how many spots are left in a class and will allow users to join a wait list if the class is full.
- Administration- The old process was difficult to administer required a lot of manual data entry and used too much paper. This new site has a sophisticated administration tool that will allow the ASE chair to contact parents via email with updates, produce class rosters with a click of a button and track payment information accurately.
- Compliance- All instructors are required to be paid by the Browns Valley Family Club for tax reasons. By using the online system, we ensure accurate payment information and also will be minimizing the burden on the BVFC Treasurers.
How does PayPal work?
Go to the PayPal website (www.paypal.com) for more information on this site. You will be required to sign up for a PayPal account in order to pay for registration.
Is PayPal secure?
Yes. It protects your information and doesn’t pass any of your financial data to the school. It acts as a digital wallet, so you do not need to retype in your account numbers after you set up your account. You can use your bank account or your credit card to pay.
I can’t get PayPal working, can I submit a check?
Yes. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org and notify us to expect a check and when you will be dropping it off. Your spot is not confirmed until I receive an email from you. Please remember that you save money and time by using the online system so it’s still the preferred method.
What about the families who don’t have internet access?
Families who don’t have internet access will receive the old paper form and will be allowed to pay by check. Those families are encouraged to submit their paperwork as soon as possible to the front office. Spots will be held in reserve for these students. If they are not used by the end of the registration period, then the spots will be given to students on the wait list.
How do scholarships work?
Each instructor will offer one scholarship spot. These will be decided on a case by case basis by Mr. Silva. Please contact Mr. Silva directly.
I have a child in After Care Program. How does that work?
Please notify the Aftercare staff that you have registered your child for an After School class. They will work with you to get your child to class. The instructors will drop them back with the staff after class. Phone number for childcare is 253-6203.
There are not many classes for Kindergarten and TK. Why is that?
The split schedule for the kinder classes is not easy for us to work around. We would like to add more classes but we can’t start the class until 2:50 when the rest of the kinders are released. Also, we have to find more instructors who would like to work with that age range.
